Hi Guys,

I've just got myself an Audi A3 (2002) 1.6 litre, and I've got a question I'm hoping someone will be able to help with.

On the Electronic Display, the Temperature Icon is premanantly showing with the obligatory 3 beeps, the Temperatur gauge itself works fine always at 90, but I can't seem to re-set the electronic display...can anyone help?

Thanks

If you mean that you're getting the thermometer symbol then check coolant level.

You may be getting the oil can which, for some obscure reason, I always see as a watering can and think it's the water level when it's the oil level warning.

Yea, I keep getting the thermometer symbol appear, I have checked (and topped up) my coolant levels... and yet the thermometer symbol still appears and still beeps every time I start the car, which is why I was wondering if there was a 're-set button'?

Needs a header tank, dodgy coolant level sensor. Car thinks its low when its not.

Should go away as it warms up though, only usually see it on cold start.
