My 2005 A3 multi changer head unit is starting to make some horrible clicking noises when changing CD and keeps coming up with error messages, so im looking to get shot of it.

My question is, what sat nav head units from other models will fit? Im looking for something with iPod connectivity (recently joined the world of the iPhone) and to make sure it will work in situ with the existing sub in the boot. Don't want to go after market due to appearance and cost.

many thanks

Why don't you buy an RNS-E off ebay, it is completely plug and play, and then buy the new AMI (Audi Music Interface) for it.

Transforms the interior and it will add more than it costs you to install to the value of the car come resale.

Symphony in yours? If you decide to replace rather than upgrade I have some good, used ones kicking around.

Are you sure about that? In the trade, extras don't normally add any value to cars, they simply the car easier to sell.

yeah got a symphony in there at the moment, not too interested in replacing it would prefer to take the opportunity to up grade!

not too interested in resale values as i'm going to keep the car indefinitely!
