hey i have this funny noise coming from under my dash now for a couple of weeks and sounds like a old radio or a earth problem i cant help thinking its my climate - control because it only works when the ignition is on any clues ??

You will probably find its the Heating Flaps motor jammed.

Very common on MK4 Golfs.
