my scan reading did indeed see ANORAK and i was expecting the thread to contain all sorts of wierd/wonderful/useless facts about VWs

That said the pick up does look quite mean and aggressive - i quite like it!

Is it just me or does that look uncannily like a massaged version of one of the Jap pickups? Interior is not very VW either...

Interior just looks like a cross between Golf Plus and Touareg

Just me perhaps - in 2nd and 3rd photos particularly it's almost a carbon copy of a Navaralux L300 or whatever they are.
