Hi all
Thinking of getting one of these in new year on a 54/55 plate.
How are these to live with. I am looking for an automatic.
Any major problems with gearbox,turbos etc.
Apart from normal wear and tear is there anything to look out for.

Any advice and help greatly appreciated.

I had one (a 55) and it was a really good car.

Didn't have it very long, but then again I never do, but it was nippy and a great family car.

There was concern about tyre wear at the time but a great vehicle nevertheless.

If you buy from a dealer, try and get on one of their on road & off road days. I spent half a day at Oulton Park and half a day wizzing round the grounds near Peckforton Castle.

You'd be amazed at just what these cars are capable of!
