b7 rs4 heater

The vents on the drivers side of my mates b7 rs4 are only blowing cold air as the rest are blowing hot air when the temp is set at maximum hot. Anyone have any ideas what it could be.

Stuck/failed flap motor.

Never heard of that fault on an RS4 B7

Reasonably common on A4s of that age - can only one on an RS4 that Audi sorted under warranty.

I presume the RS4 stuff is the same as A4.

Same motors as any other A4, fairly common. Get the fault codes read to be sure which motor is required.

Or drop the trims and see which one doesn move as you go through all the A/C functions.
