Golf 1 Cabrio hood replacement - how cheap/easy?

I've seen a G plate cabrio I'm tempted by but it needs a new hood, how much work is involved in fitting one and are they expensive? It appears you can get a mohair one for £200 and a vinyl one for less than that, what eles is needed or is that it?
