pre-cat crank shaft pulley -where do i get one from?

Hi all, anyone know the part number or origin (car model) the crank shaft vee belt pulley came from for the 4L pre-cat 1992? I have bought two off ebay now, alledgedly for a tvr, waited what seems like ages for them to come and both have been the wrong one. TVR dealer wasnt sure what one i needed and if it was available so where do i go for one? Dont care if its new or old so long as i can get one thats the rght size and fits on.
Anyone know where to get one? Someone has suggested v8 developments might have one, will try them this morning.

Are these different from an SD1 pulley?
I might have one of those.

the last one i bought off ebay wasabout 5mm too long and diameter wise about 20mm smaller and this is likely to be an SD1 pulley. V8D phone was busy, will keep trying, bell hill no luck but said it might be from P6 but depends on water pump? need to check part number on that first, clever trevor no luck there said try David Gerald, waiting for a call back from them.
Oh well, day off might as well spend it phoning around.

Bell Hill dont have any griff front ends either, the tuscan bonnet shell at the back of the garage is looking more favourable all the time...

helpfull chat to chap at V8Developments has established i do need the pulley from an SD1, but he doesnt have one. The last one i bought off ebay is a range rover one he thinks.

Thanks for your help. I am hoping some pictures appear here of what my pulley looks like can you check its the same?, it is 173mm diameter and approx 43mm overall height, you will see the vee belt flange is flattend, this is because the engine mountings failed when front end collision occurred and the pulley hit the front cross member!

I have just checked in the garage and I have a pulley from a pre serp 500 which measures 170 dia and 45 deep. I'm a bit rushed this morning so will check the measurements more carefully later today or tomorrow. I see youre in Cambs and I'm only just north of Peterborough, if you arent yet sorted and you want to do a side by side comparison let me know....

Thanks for your help guys, sounds like i've finally located one, pick it up tomorrow. Surprised me that not a single dealer, v8 builder or scrappie had one, amazing.
