Tyres for 15" Standard Griff Wheels

Hi Guys, sorry to start off what is the perrenial old chestnut! I like the standard set-up on my Griff (still a reletively new owner - 3 weeks), but know from the records that the front tyres on the original wheels are overdue for a change. Ride is hard and bumpy on the front, side walls seem really hard. At the moment there are a couple of Khumo (whatever else they are) tyres, but these are 'V' rated. With all the current far east brands around, which do seem to get good reviews even though they are reletively cheap, what are your views as to a good 15" 205/55 'W' rated tyre, especially as the Toyos do not appear to be available anymore? By the way on the back are Brigestone Potenza 225/50 'W' rated. Should I be radical and have 16" on the front?? Regards, Pete

Interestingly enough I had a look yesterday for 225/50/15 on Camskill for you the other day and they were out of stock. They are now stating they have stock:

Try Dunlop Sport 9000 (I think they're called). 205 15" and W rated (I don't have power steering). Good price, hard wearing, seem to stick well too. I have Toyo's on the back.
