Immobiliser is too efficient - help!

I had a flat battery - completely. It is now fully charged (using my delightful shiny new accumate charger) and took about 5 days to get to this state. HOWEVER there is no alarm or immobiliser flashing light. The batteries in the fob have been changed for new ones but still no joy.

How do i get the alarm or immobiliser to reset?

cheers to all who may know the bizarre combination of button presses ignition clicks and which side I need to get out of bed to make my car work again.

Try holding the button in for 10 - 20 seconds when you point it at the dash - might also help to reset the ECU. Did you have the battery removed from the footwell when you charged it?

Try disconnecting your battery terminal , wait for 20 secs and reconnect , everything should reset

On my Tiv I had to disconnect the battery for 15 minutes reconnect and no prob's since.

disconnected the battery for only about 20 seconds and all is now glorious and v8 sounding.
