mot .Emmissions help please v8 1986

Hi all.its a tvr wedge related question.Hope you can help .Car failed its mot today.Its been off the road for 6 years .one year in my ownership.Its only done 8 miles since last motwhen it passed its emmisions.Now the emmissions are sky high.It does not idle .Tryed adjusting idle still not right.i am sure something is playing up in the lucus system not sure what .Any help would be good Thanks for your time Mike

You're close to Dulford automotive near Cullompton, TVR specialists and MOT's, they'll sort it. That's what I do.
