Just wondering what mpg you 500 griff boys get? my engine hasn't been rolling roaded yet coz im running it in but £20 gets me between 80-100 miles, at best that equates to 18mpg.

I am sure people will find it hard to believe but driving mine with in the speed limits and gentle throttle use, has returned 26 to the gallon but normally i recon its more like 20 but as soon as you realy cut it loose the MPG gets scarey regards Steve.

Best I ever got was 27 MPG on a motorway run to the NEC and back. Worst? 13 MPG for a whole tank, around town only. Averaged around 20 MPG. mixed town/A-roads.

I believe you. I can easily see 25 on a good motorway run. Then I have also got in to single figures; once blew a whole tank on a great day and reckoned I'd managed 9 mpg

Good Fun though

I reckon on 20mpg average - it's surprising how much of your time, even on an average trip, you spend accelerating

Id agree with 20 average. On a long trip (a whole tank without stopping) I got 23MPG and the weekend blasts see around 18MPG.

Your not kidding its cheaper there. Im surprised that most cars run on LPG down under which is so cheap its almost free!

When do you go and where are you going?
