Just got car back after service turned into outriggers job, found stitching gone on 2 inch section of screen. Any tips as can't afford repair?

....hen do the job yourself. I repaired the stitching on my hood with one, not the neatest job but definitely cheaper than a new hood or professional repair.

I Gaffa taped mine up for 3 months.

New screen sewn in now though.

Happened to mine - was covered on my insurance under 'windscreen' replacement.

Used silicon sealant on mine; still ok 4 years later.

Cheers guys, like the insurance "windscreen" idea.

Keeps getting better, just driven home and decided to give it the beans since I had a black DBS volante behind me and the oil pressure went through the roof then off. Pull over and checked dip stick, looked empty! considering 30 miles from service I was alarmed, but as it turns out in bright sunshine I can't see fresh clean oil on the stick so a dodgy sender in the offing.

I need a stiff drink, lol gone through every emotion several times today, still never change it for the world!
