If you want to upgrade your engine i would fit stage 3 medium valve heads.

re the chamber sizes Tim, I know they come in 28cc and 33cc versions but what other differnces are there and what effect does it have on the performance/reliability etc.
Also the 'medium valves' are not that much smaller than the big valves, again for a road car, aren't the medium sized ones probably optimum
, with the big ones being too big, why I don't know though

I'd have thought with the shorter stroke of the 4.3 if anything you'd need a smaller cc combustion chamber to achieve a decent CR?
