Griff Boot release

Disaster!! Can't get into the boot on my Griff, the sun is shining & I have no petrol. I have the 'bible' & tried that solution to no avail. Can anybody help? Thanks in hope!!

Following on from this.

My griff is missing the spring on the boot latch, therefore, when I push the boot release there is nothing pushing the boot open. My other half has to open it, while I keep my finger on the boot release button :-(

Any ideas where I can get one of these, or is it a question of a new boot latch?

for springs search around your independant DIY store or the scrapy. You can always bend a similar spring to suit.
