Drivers door relay

Hi guys,

I'm trying to figure out why my electric door mirrors will not move using the toggle switch. This is effecting both mirrors.

I've checked the fuses and all seem ok. I took the drivers door panel off yesterday to see if the problem was due to corroded contacts on the toggle switch etc., but all seems ok there too. However, while the panel was off I did notice a 30A relay at the front of the door, just inside the speaker hole. At the time I just assumed this was a relay for the windows (which work fine).

Can anyone confirm what this relay is for. The search function is down on here and the usual online parts shops don't seem to make a reference to a relay for this use.?

OK, so I've bought a new relay, cheap enough so worth a shot, but the mirrors still don't function. I've double checked the fuses and they're ok. Steve Heath's book makes reference to the mirrors having their own ecu. I didn't notice it but would that be in the door as well? Or, else where in the dash?
