GROWL - planned drive out, names needed please

Sharon and Dave Blanchard have kindly agreed to lead a run out on the Saturday in "Storm" (storm grey 4.3) so we need volunteers if you want to have a tour around the local area with a couple of stops offs for decent pictures. We have had runs printed out for previous Growls but either the weather has been against us or nobody has been out (too much ale drinking and chatting going on). The aim is to start the run at 13:30 with orderly queue forming on the main route out of the hotel from 10 minutes prior to that time. Sharon will be level with the welcome point so please queue behind her. If we get too many we may split the group but lets see how we go. The route is approx 50 minutes plus stopping time so approx 90 minutes in total. If you are booked on the rolling road between 13:15 and 15:00 please let Andrea know and get your times changed.

Thanks for all the emails.

I'm bogged down at work and forums etc are blocked on my work PC so please excuse me if you don't hear from me for a while.

I tested the route on Saturday and it's good. A few speed bumps that are TVR friendly and one speed camera to be aware of but these won't cause those being sensible any issues at all. A couple of sharp bends, too, so keep your wits about you. Some great views along the way. Oh, and sheep.

I will do a drivers briefing at the Growl and hand out notes, but if you have a Garmin or TomTom satnav, let me know as I can send you a file.

I've got some time off next week so will be in touch then with full details.

And I've booked some good weather, too!
