Drivers Footwell Vent

Anyone have any advice on removing the vent.

Need to remove in order to recarpet, and although I am tempted to just 'yank it out' - from previous experience I dont want to end up dismantling more things trying to fix a new one back in place!!

Isn't it attached to the big hose across the back of the engine?
Jubilee clip to undo and if you're very lucky the hose will come off, but I tried that with mine a while ago and the hose wouldn't budge.

if you mean the one by your right knee isn't it attached to the fan in the o/side wing? should be an eyeball vent that clips into the fibreglass

You have to 'yank it out' I´m afraid...

Ah, I was thinking of the one by your left knee - not having the one by your right knee I never gave it a thought.
