beam deflector location for Le Mans trip?

WAHOOO off to Le Mans in less than a week but i`m not sure what to do about beam deflectors for driving in the land of the frog? the main lower lights are ok to stick the delectors on but what about the faired in lights ........what does everyone else do , just leave those?...........Martin
i must admit last year I went to all the effort of putting them on to find that I didnt use the car after dark Dont even bother unless you intend to do lots of night driving.
ALso, there isnt any point in putting them on the lower lights as you shouldnt have main beam on when driving towards someone anyway!
Edited to add: I drive around to the best viewing points on the night of the race and I have never been stopped.

) and simply forget they are there, although technically useless they will be sufficient to keep French plod happy. Rich... The French are currently running a huge crackdown on British speeders.
The nice touch is that it is direct to lock up if caught. They are also enforcing all the core requirements as well, such as spare bulbs, warning triangle and lamp shields.
May be worth being more careful than in previous years as those tricky little chaps may well see Le Mans as a field day.

I've heard the french gauchons will be trying the maginaux line again - in any attempt to halt the British invasion from the North.
It was not too successful in the past - so hopefully the Brit's will smash their way through

In the past we have all razzed down through France to LM and had a ball. A few maniacs spoilt it by trying to kill themselves and a handful of others but it has generally always been good natured. It has been getting silly these last few years (part of the reason I don't go any longer) but the police could well be planning to actually hit the Brits rather than sit back and watch the lovely cars go by as in the past.
