Interior light won't turn off

Hi

Any Griff owners know where the interior light (footwell and hood)delay timer is situated.
These lights stay on after locking the doors. I know you can turn off the hood light separately but the footwell stays on.
As the car is not used much it is a drain on the battery.

On the fuse/relay panel by the battery there is a large yellow thing that looks like a tall relay. They are notorious for failing. Unplug it and your troubles should disappear. Other culprits are the door switches at the bottom of the B posts but if these are faulty then the central locking may also go haywire.

The footwell light has a three position switch on it the same as the one on the hood bar, I bet someone has caught it with their foot as they got out of the car and switched it to on all the time. That happened to my car once... result ... jump start.
