Where to fix fire extinguisher?

Just bought a small fire extinguisher from halfords to put in my griff. Has anybody else fixed one in their griff? If so Where is the best place to fix?, it has two fixing points on the cradle for screws or something like that. Just in case my car catches fire from the heat racing it down to Le Mans.

Good question, I bought one a few months ago and it's still sitting in the garage! Rich...

I put it behind the passenger seat, wrapped in a towel. Did many trackdays with it and it doesn't move at all. Simple.

We still haven't worked out where to put ours - it needs to be somewhere I can reach from the drivers seat, but I also don't want it 'on show'.

At the moment ours sits in the passenger footwell along with my autodisk lock thing for when I go to see clients in not so nice areas! At least the lock stops the extinguisher rolling around, but I'm hard pressed to reach across to get it in an emergency!

That's exactly where it was in my BMW - except I kept catching my heels on it so took it out!

Worked it out now. Put it in front of the driver's seat on the floor. Got "me bird", (no sexism intended) to sew two strips of velcro, although any strong fabric will do, across the cradle into the carpet.
Works perfectly, no vibration at all.
