Front Roll Bar Drop Links.

Exactly how do you remove them ?

I followed the advice on the Steve Heath web site, the nuts were removed easily enough after overnight soaking with plus gas but the front links appear unable to simply push out of their respective mounting holes as they need to move in opposite directions and there is insufficient movement for them to "twist" in the vertical plane. Decided not to get brutal with them.

Either drop the mounting brackets to the chassis or try jacking up the lower wishbone to free it up.

Thanks, I tried jacking up the wishbone with the front end on axle stands but no joy, also tried to unscrew the stud from the "ball" at each end of the link. I will try again at the weekend

If you drop the 4 bolts from the two mounting brackets you will soon wiggle it out
