Apart from things like insurance and paperwork etc, what would be the essentials that one needs to take away with them when taking the Griffith abroad?

Obviously not planning on getting caught out but what would be the sensible list of 'spares' to take?

I asked Dr. Joolz this exact question, so, whats in my break-down box?

Assorted nuts, bolts, jubilee clips. 40amp fuses, spare bulbs, insulating tape, serpentine belt, throttle cable, wiper blades and an assortment of other fuses. Plus my normal set of tools, amalgamating tape, duct tape, warning triangle, first aid kit and RAC card.

Glad to be of help. You could also add a can of tyre weld/finilec etc to that if you want.

You carry spare oil as a matter of course, I take it?

A spare ignition lead (long) and spark plug extension!

Talking from experience, because just back from a 3.500 miles trip and had all the mentioned parts with me, but ...... no other troubles anyway.

Don´t forget spare keys, spare petrol, octan booster (Italy is a nightmare to get proper fuel where even 95 Octan is sometimes hard to find), a screwpull for the nice bottles of red, Stanley knife...........
