5 stud conversion-stud length?

Hi all,can someone tell me what the stud length is on their 5 stud hub conversion please? Im about to buy the conversion but wondered if the stud length will be the right length for my RL7's which are 18" et40 rears and 17" et33 fronts with 8mm spacers added. Come to that,whats the recommended stud length protrusion through the wheel for the nut to go on? Cheers,Mike

Hello Mike! Not sure of the length as I am not near my car but I used Transit studs supplied by a local Ford dealer. You can also get them from a company called Speedshack 01895 449066.

Hi Ian,I won't be getting my own made but thanks for the link all the same.I wondered how the ones currently offered by the specialists measured up.

The original studs that I have with spiders are fine for the 17" RL7's on mine Mike.


...big proviso is that I don't think all the conversions treat the hub quite the same? hence offsets & stud lengths seem to have been quoted as different on occasions ~ measure twice, buy once I guess will be the answer.
