Having sold my lovely pre-cat Griff 'GREEN MEANIE' because of lack of use, ive gone and bought another car......

I just havn't the time, but i had to have it !!!!!!

An ultra rare MK1 Astra GTE in white 31000 miles.

I had told all my mates 'do not ring me if you find a car you know i will buy'

This one found me, 2.3 miles away from my house...

Its locked away as an investment.........

You must have some emotional attachment to this model as in my humble opinion even as rare as it might be, it can't really hold a candle next to any of the hot hatches listed below!
Still bought back great memories watching the add
Golf GTI MK1, Peugoet 205 1.9 or 1.6, Renault 5 Turbo Mark1 or 2 or even a mark 1 Escort Turbo
Still a good looking car for its time, just lacked something for me.
Sold a late model 5 Turbo in white with only 800 miles on a few years back, worst mistake i ever made guy phoned me two days later after writing it off

Can't argue with you on the Peugeot 205 1.9. The best front wheel drive car I've ever driven

I love the Mk1 GTE. Sounds like you got a good one there low mileage and in the only colour to have.

I had a Mk2 in black and I loved it.

Mk1 Astra Gte, rare car, loads around at one time...Well worth saving !!

The Best Hot Hatch just has to be the 5 GT Turbo, i have 2 at the moment, a White G reg , which packs a reputed 200 BHP which i am keeping and a 1 Owner from new one in black which is for sale very reasonably priced .
Also have a nice White 1.9 205 GTI also for sale. Nice cars , but nothing like the grin factor that The 5 Turbo gives .

My mate had a MK 1 GTE, whilst I had a MK 2 GTE at the same time, both with 1.8 engines (mine was my 21st Bday present 2 myself), upset my boss at the time who had a MK 2 SRI
