Griffith Brake Calliper

I have just been advised by my MOT man that I need a new rear brake calliper - does anyone know which manufacturer & model and the best place to get one? As you can tell I am a novice in this area. Thank you.

Do you know if he took it off and why he has written it off?
Normally you just need new seals, sometimes new pistons. But rarely entirely new calipers unless the piston bores are shot or maybe the pipe unions are stripped

Well it wasnt actually the MOT man that said i need a new caliper. He advised me that my handbrake was not working on the offside rear wheel. Having taken the wheel off, the calpier is at fault. Is it true that it would be cheaper for me to just buy a new caliper(As stated in the Bible)?

Go to your local auto factor with it and get an exchange one, think you will find the part number they need is stamped on it somewhere.
