Number plates for a Griffith - where to get the actual plate

I have just brought a private plate for my 95 Griff. Question I would like to ask is, where is the best place to buy the actual plates?
The reason I ask, is I believe the back plate is special due to the light being fixed behind the plate. Is it called a 'honeycomb' plate? Can I simply buy them (with prove of the documents) over the counter at somewhere like Halfords? Or is it a case of a 'special' supplier and have them posted. Best prices and all that, if you have it to hand!

As I mentioned it is a 1995 year old car, is it also possible to have a 'logo' or company name rather than the usual garage name in small writing below the actual numbers and letters too? I am also looking to have the Union Jack flag placed on the side of the number plate - hence having NOT to put a sticker on the car when travelling abroad.

Any body got any thoughts, suggests, ideas of how to enhance the back plate or where best to get them made up etc? Images welcome - Does any body else out there have a logo/words on their number plate for all to see?

Yep, that who I've used too. Although the current one I got from Fernhurst as the Fancy Plates site was down when I bought my 'vanity plate'.

Fancyplates do the 3/4 size front plates too.
