www.fancyplates.com They send them to you
Mike
I'd recommend them as long as you don't mind a bit of a wait, mine took forever to get delivered, the excuse was they couldn't source the material. Eventually when they did get the backing stuff they still took a bit of chasing until I finally got them (approx 3 weeks and about 2 months in total).
Also they lost my original request and subsequently when I got the plates they weren't correct, I'm still chasing them to get a new one done.
Cost for the rear plate was about £25 so if you can get one from a TVR dealership for not much more I'd save yourself some potential grief.
Having said all that the plates do look good, it's just a shame their customer service isn't quite as good.
Anyone got old style silver on black numberplates on (the rear of) their Griff ? I know the lighting problems, but still so tempted as mine's silver.... (sorry for slight off topic diversion)

I have found fancyplates to be excellent.
They were the only bunch willing to do a custom logo AND a sticky front numberplate.
Took a little toing and froing on the logo format but once that was sorted the plates arrived pronto..

They are't on a modern Griff in the UK, old Griff yes. I think the cut off is 1972/1973
We are talking modern Griffs here, so they ARE illegal as the car is too young.
Whether you would get pulled or not is up to the local BiB.
Might look nice on the silver car for the odd outing though

Can't recomend www.fancyplates.com enough to be honest!
Ordered a set of plates for Mrs NeilMac's MGF yesterday at 2 minutes to midday and they arrived in the post this morning - AND they are exactly what was ordered.
Top company!!!

Don't want to put a dampner on the number plate issue but
will stop you if he sees your plates if they don't conform and can give you depending on which force a £30 ticket or a vehicle defect rectification ticket to get it taken off within 14 days which then has to be checked by MOT approved test stn then the ticket sent off.
They can also take a photo of your plate and if the ticket doesn't get paid or of it happens again they can advise DVLA and your plate whether it be a personal plate or normal plate not conforming revoke it.
So the moral of this info if it helps is err on the side of caution unless you know a few friendly
