No Clutch - Info for Others

Thought I'd sneak into the Griff forum and post this whilst no one was looking:-
Hi PH'ers,
Just some info re a clutch problem I had recently and a solution that might help others. Mine is a Chimaera, 95 N reg. Reverse is to the right and back.
Had an issue with the loss of clutch fluid leaking through the clutch slave cylinder and was unable to source a repair kit locally. I didn't want to purchase a suitable replacement that may or may not have the correct bore etc. etc.
After doing a search I came across a thread that mentioned PowerTrack Ltd. [Google is your friend] So I took the slave cylinder off and gave them a ring. The call was answered by Paul, who was able to quote the number on the casting to me and confirmed he definitely had a repair kit to fix. I ordered two [@£21.00 inc. P+P] and they arrived the next day - Cheers Paul - no connection to myself.
Fitting was quite simple - but make sure you put the replacement seal on the correct way and I advise you reconnect the hydraulic pipe before you put the two fixing bolts back in, or possibly only do them both up finger-tight first.
The seal has been in several weeks now and I have had no problems at all.
PS I purchased a one-way brake bleeding pipe to allow me to bleed the hydraulic system on my own.
