hose diameter

Does anybody know the hose diameter for the hose which runs off the two pipes running next to the left rocker cover and then rubber hoses goes to the heater matrix. Internal and external diameter if possible as I have just found my wet valley gasket cause, eg hole in hose and need to put a joining piece in to fix untill winter arrives and I can change the hole length.

I have just done exactly the same job. Bought my 16mm hose from ACT, they also do aluminium hose joiners.

16mm is external ! you need to know the internal diameter which is 7 to 8mm.

Bit of confusion here?

I thought the question was what I.D are the heater hoses. They are 16mm (can't find my calipers to measure O.D.

The 8mm I.D hoses are the fuel hoses.
