Growl 2012 - poll on dates please

Due to the Olympics the hotel business seems to have gone mad and Etington are unable to offer anything in July/August and the bulk of September at anything less than about £120 per room, and they wouldn't hold the rooms nor the rate, so I've asked if they can provide some dates that we can take rooms at sensible prices and provide a significantly better deal all round.
The 2 dates are 25-27th May or 8-10 June. My preference is June as I know the Club are looking at the Spa Classic which is 27/28th May. It is also the week of the 2 bank holidays (moved May bank holiday and the Queens Diamond Jubilee day) which are 4th and 5th of June, so maybe you could take the whole week off??
I need to get back to EC asap, so I'll leave this a few hours to see what your thoughts are.

Will the brown one be finished in time for 2012 Growl?It is a BH earlier in the month but EC didn't offer any other dates, and we'll more than likely be on holiday over that date. I don't want to go back with other dates now as its took a month to get this far and I want to get a date set in stone as early as poss.
These dates offer the best package so I'm going with one of them. Its going to clash with something and I think more go to Classic Le Mans know which is early July so I think early June is a good one to go with plus if you're there Friday, if you book another 2 days off then you'll have all week off to prepare for the Growl.

Hopefully back to usual for 2013, having the Growl early on in the year is going to confuse me no end!

Hmmm a week off sounds good 
with a tour of France or somewhere for the more intripid Griff owner, ending up at the Growl as finishing point, as it is a special year for the Griff
Can we also park cars in order of age, based on date when registered..... maybe a bit tricky, but I'm sure something can be done (just a suggestion)

Any one for us as we missed this years growl and can't be a definite as 2012 plans are still with S.W.M.B.O. Whitby must be shut if Nigel (S6ROR) has a preference. As for Chimps being welcome, I hear that Track V Road are doing a wrapping service now, maybe a word with Richard would make a Chim wrapped as a Griff slightly more appealing
