Is the brake lights switch (white plastic attached to the brake pedal itself) a TVR specific part or can it be sourced locally from another manufacturer (e.g. Ford I would expect). Does anyone know the part number? Thanks in advance.
Cheers, Ozren

It looks Ford to me, i think it was the same on my '88 Escort.

Cant be sure but thought it might help.

If you are real tight like me, you can take the switch apart and clean the contacts, pop it back together and its done, there is only one spring and it is easily assembled.

Hi swissgriff, it is very easy to clean the contacts. You will see the opening bit when you pop it off. However if you just want to replace it, this info is for others.

Hi Ozren. I don't know what it's off, but if you find out and can't get one, let me know and I'll sent it to you.
