Not sure about in a Griff..... but know they fit in to Chimp, bit of a tight fit but postioned right they clear the roof hoop. Apparently a lot better holding of the body then our nice comfy arm chairs.

i did it in a griff a few years back, they fitted ok, i bolted the runners to a 3mm ali sheet got the distance and angle right just for me then marked the holes from underneath drilled through and bolted down, they looked like they were made for the car and the support in the corners was amazing, if i build up a griff again to my spec i will definately go for elise seats again, cheap too!

I know a guy who purchased some solid old school cobra type bucket seats beacuse of back ache and had TVR stiched in to the head rests ,they look a treat and match the interior.Much safer for the odd track day..

That's what mine are, when I can afford it, I will replace them with Exige Probax seats, a world better but usually at least £650.00

I think the Tuscan seats look the best in a Griff. But they are hard to get hold of.

I have probax in my Elise, they are quite hard on the back on a long trip but absolutely the right seat to feel the car , IMO the Griff is more of a cruiser in comparison, you can't throw it around as much as an Elise with out asking for trouble, I'd would rather have had Tuscan seats in my old Griffs, comfortable yet they hold you in better than the Griff seat if you throw it about, which I did a lot.

Which runners did you use to get them in?

None as I wanted max headroom for use with a helmet, (6'-2").

Standars Elise runners are fine and don't add too much in depth.
