Silicon Hoses??
Discussion
I'm contemplating getting some of the above for the Griff but am not sure what colour to get them in. The car is Triumph (motorbike) Racing Yellow (like Daytona yellow maybe) and it has been suggested that I get the yellow ones - not sure though as I've not seen any fitted that I can think of - so question is has anyone a picture of the engine bay of a yellow Griff with silicon hoses fitted that aren't black? I'm thinking yellow or maybe the standard blue here but then .....

Thanks Stuart - some pictures of the yellow hoses, etc. would be really good to see so if you could post some or email them to me it would be helpful.
Re the colour - I think there are a few yellows that are very similar - I was told it was Daytona Yellow when I bought it and it is probably very much like Gallofly Yellow but I have checked it with the original factory paint records (Surface and Design have them at Blackpool) and it is Triumph Racing Yellow. Maybe a line up of different yellows sometime would be interesting!

I went for black...... not so bling, but subtle and thats what I keep telling myself
ok reality is one of my hoses went a few years ago at the Growl and I needed a replacement there and then, so bought a black kit as it is what was availble (blue would of clashed with my red magnecors, and yes I really wanted red but I needed to get home as well

Well the new blue hoses have now been fitted and look v smart; this now leaves me with another decision - the kit came with the induction hose from AFM to plenum and I had already fitted a black silicon one last year. Clearly I could sell the unwanted one so which to have - the black matches the rest of the induction so maybe leave as it is (particularly as the hose needs to be cut down slightly to get it fitted correctly so would the black one now fit other Griff (or even Chims)? I assume so) or would the blue one be better??
Any thoughts re interchangeability of the already cut down black hose to another car as effectively it is absolutely fine for someone else if I stay with the blue one.
Decisions, decisions ....

That does look v nice and tidy! One thing I have noted is that the silicon hose to the plenum has certainly got quite dirty and isn't the easiest thing to clean so no doubt the nice clean new ones will soon be similarly dirty. There must be some easy way to clean them (I'm not getting all detailing here!) but they do start to look grubby so what is the quick and easy way?
