DAB tuner

Have fitted new Pioneer MP3 player in car, and it also has capability of a DAB tuner. What is required to get this to work and will it work better than the normal tuner, re fibre glass body. Thanks a lot for any help.

I have DAB in my Griff and also my "metal car". In the Griff the aerial is using the fuel tank as an earth plane, its just an aerial and still needs an earth plane. Or you could go for a B. Punkt screen aerial, was due to try one but never got round to it. Normal FM/Am is fine for the very rare occasion of listening to radio, my Clarion automatically switches to DAB if its better.

Thanks Dusty, £300 plus £45 for an aerial + vat!! Think I'll listen to CDs.
