This popped up on a Google Image search whilst looking for 'TVR Griffith Steering Wheel' (long story.....).

Ignoring the Carbon Fibre effect steering wheel (not to my personal liking), I quite like the pod mounted (ala Cerbera) clocks.

Anyone know anything more about this car??

Looks like a cowl from a cerb, with the vents replaced by clocks.

The steering wheel is real pre-preg CF, made by Reverie and 500 quid!

Looks like gauges for the sake of it to me, can't think of 7 x different things I'd want to monitor. And the tick-tick clock is in a daft place. Should be closest to the passenger as that's the one they are most likely to want to see.

The Zertec griff did have a Cerb cowl. IIRC, there was also a button to turn the brake lights on....

It's definitely the Zertec Griff but IIRC Clive moved out to the Far East and concentrated on his day job so there's not much hope of getting those parts.

It should be a simple enough task to recreate it if you're so inclined.

Good to see some of the old guard here too! I joined up when I was looking for my first Griff and 18 months later I bought the 500 that I still have today. It's amazing how little the look/feel of the forum have changed even if the vibe is altogether different now due to the insane membership numbers.

Cheers chaps!

Always been a dial man but the main reason for having them is the Blower

Didn't a chap called Andy Malpass (on the TVRCC forum) buy the car and ship to the Philippines?

p.s. I also have Clive's Zertec stalks, love them.

p.p.s. So, 35,43,74 there's some oldies on this thread hehe

Yep. He's in shipping I think - Singapore? The last I heard he was expecting it this year, but that was a while ago.

Andy Malpass does indeed own that car. It was Martin Lilley's car before Clive acquired it and then sold it on to Andy.
I took Andy to the the last Growl and he spent the day acting like a kid among all the Griffs smile

The car has spent the last 5 years being worked on inbetween Clive's day job and among other things has been converted to LHD for Andy (who lives in Manila) by Clive (who lives in Singapore) and others.
The dash obviously has changed along with the colour, retrimmedseats, new wheels, buttons etc etc. It's nearly finished and recently had a new hood supplied by D&C Trim, so it should be being shipped from Singapore soon.

I'm meeting Clive at Christmas with a view to helping him restart the supply of some old and some new Zertec parts.

Yeah knew I was one of the early ones. Ted used my Tuscan build shots on the home page in Dec 1999 or Jan 2000 which I think was probably the first Tuscan customer car images on the site. I assume the old pages are archived somewhere but not sure how to get to them?
