430ftlb of torque it hasn't got any! braking at the end of the straight required massive amounts of throttle to match the engine speed when heel and toeing, its quite easy to get it wrong!,no wonder so many people crash them on the roads,Roy had my old red one for about an hour before he crashed it and caused £10k of damage!!

I suggest investing in a Oulton Park drift day ? They have a VERY special drift circuit which is like glass. Sideways at 20mph so no wear & tear BUT you will soon get a feel for car control ... but be careful as a Griffith doesnt have great steering lock so angles are limited !!

That car is long gone, too fine a line between drifting and crashing in a Griff,I know Cerbs are much better having a longer wheel base and have been out in Boss Cerbs monster around a track. No problem in drifting, learnt to drive in a GPO Moggy at 14 on crossplys and first car was a toyota Corolla and then a Celica (should have kept that, their making £5K now!)both RWD.

Great video.

The Griff sounds the nuts on the overrun. What exhaust does it have?
