It's not big and it's not clever! You can't tell them can you!
Pistonfest Sunday:
Quick wash down (just seemed to wash teh last polish off, damn!
Set off from Symonds Yat (late - I blame Mrs Beano!!)
M50 closed at Ross - bu$$er, bu$$er, bu$$er!
Never mind - have to take the road to Ledbury and get some Optimax
Except it is crawling along at about 20 'cos the M'way's closed
Fill up with Opti and get to join motorway.
Uh oh! Drinks can thrown up by car in front - goes about 10 metres into the air and we're heading right for where it's going to land!
It ends up making a glancing blow of the bonnet - surprisingly little damage, just a few paint marks which are no worse than the current stone chips!
Pistonfest - great place, great people, strip was fun, weather changed from boiling to freezing in one easy step!
Drove all the way back to sunny Hertfordshire, stopped off for a pint of milk and the Griff won't re-start
Let it cool down for a half hour and we're running perfectly - guess we've got the old "hot start feature" after all this time! But then it re-started from hot when I got it to the garage!???
Don't sulk! You've got a nice clean dry garage now, too!!!Big Al. said:
Ron, ncs (Nick) had a very similar problem a few weeks ago, his problem was not starter motor related IIRC, drop him a mail.
Ever little helps, as the saying goes.
I can help on this too as I found that on Nicks car...
I just deleted the rest as he might not want it all in public (although its nothing bad, its not my place to talk about it!).
Email me and I'll help out.
