Pre-cat air filter

I want to change the air filter as part of the new year service. Does anyone like either the Pipercross or K&N as an upgrade? I had heard some of them don't fit that well. It's a cylindrical unit on the pre-cats and not the panel found on the later 500s.

K&N from ACT products is the best bet.

Yep, I also got the K&N from ACT.

Do any of you guys know what the K&N part number is? ACT are not the cheapest for parts as my exhaust bill shows (though it is wonderful!) and I'd like to shop around if I can.
