Oh OK, so there are other reasons for me selling, but none quite so compelling or exciting.

Anyway, I will be relocating to the Forest of Dean area (Gloucestershire) and wondered if anyone could recommend good places for servicing?

I would think that new one in Cheltenham would be your nearest, although Penninsula come highly recommended, and I believe they collect and deliver.

It feels like I have been waiting to buy a Griffith for even longer than DustyC (Just checked my profile and I have been a member for 21 months!!).

I have to say that PH has been a real help in making my mind up that a Griffith is a sensible(!) everyday car within my budget. So I will be looking for a 96/97 Griffith 500 as soon as my exchange and completion have goon through. Fingers & everything else crossed.

Living in St Albans at present but should be moving towards end of month once the house has sold.

Dusty - Having lived through a long search for a Griffith, what were your main reasons for not purchasing cars you had seen? Might give me an idea of what problems crop up most often and hence what to look out for. Looking forward to a few.

[Aware of waxoiling, regular services, chassis corrosion, musty carpets, stone chips, steady idle, etc, etc but may well get an expert like Rob to give any prospective purchase the once over]

Mental note - must buy copy of the bible.

Seems like my Griffith might be further away than I thought.

My house chain has collapsed. It seems someone down the chain has pulled out. What a waste of money and what a crap system for buying/selling houses. Everyone is out of pocket now except the solicitors who will get to charge for it all over again.

Was only a few days away from exchanging too
