Leven Drop Links
Discussion
After purchasing a pair of rear Leven drop links over 3 years ago I finally got around to purchasing a pair of fronts. The drop links arrived last week and I was reminded just how high quality and durable the Leven drop links are. It is great to see companies such as Leven designing and manufacturing quality products for our cars.

Front links with new bushes. I was warned that rose jointed aftermarket links were likely noisy but I was hoping the supposedly greased joints covered with the rubber covers would counter this.
I may have the existing bilstein dampers, springs refurbished and rebuilt later in the year, at which point I will revert to the standard drop links.
I am having mine fitted this week along with the updated Bilstien Mk4 dampers. I have the back drop links fitted at these are silent I am expecting the front ones to be the same...... I'll let you know in a couple of weeks. I may have the existing bilstein dampers, springs refurbished and rebuilt later in the year, at which point I will revert to the standard drop links.

Mine don't make any noise at all.
Fingers cross Matt.
+1, no noises from my Leven drop links.Fingers cross Matt.
I have these links front & rear and have been very happy with them, a vast improvement over the original nasty TR6 rubber ball type that wear out in no time.
If there are noises I would look elsewhere.
If it seems ARB related I would closely inspect the brackets on the rear lower wishbones where the ARB links connect.
These brackets often crack, mine did & it gave a kind of "clack, clack" sound as the ARB was loaded up on bends.
The problem is well documented, apparently even TVR acknowledged it by upgrading the brackets on the last Chims & Griffs.

Pretty conclusive I would say.
