HI Lads is there any one out there with a part no,for the griffith wiper motor done a search did not find anything any help would be very welcome many thanks paul

They can be rebuilt very easily if necessary. Is it an electrical problem or a frictional one?

it electrical ithink i have fast speed and washer works but i don,t have intermittent or slow speed i have changed the park switch /intermittent relay and wiper lever ,fuse but still no joy ,there was a thread back awhile ago on the same subject but he did not say how he fixed his problem any help is must welcome paul

I believe this is how it's wired. If you've got fast the only thing I think it can be inside the wiper motor is one brush gone or a feed problem which this diagram should allow you to test.

To dismantle it you only have to undo the two screws on the end after you've removed the five screws holding the gearbox cover on.

Thanks Rob. Once made new carbon brushes for old Bosch washing machine using Hotpoint brushes. REshaped with some careful filing to fit. Can be done with Lucas motor, methinks. Eddie, Cambridge, Histon.

Not according to my parts man biggrin I've fitted the above brush assembly to mine, it's a direct replacement.
