Refurbished Badges
Discussion
A few pics of my refurbished badges recently fitted. I had them refurbished by Leven (aka, Prestige Performance), and what a cracking job they made. I had them done in the same 'gold' colour as they were originally, and seeing that they were chipped with most of the black gone they came back looking great. I decided to make up some rubber gaskets (see pics) for each of the badges, as this allows them to not only fit more comfortably but also eliminates scratches and marking on the paintwork - highly recommended. All the best, Pete

Great job, mine ore over due for a refurb - please advise how much it cost plus the lead time - Thanks
Hi Steve, they cost £39 each, and there was about a 1 month lead-time, they have to build up a minimum of 10 sets to make it viable. When I rang up to enquire in January that had just got the 10 sets and were ready to process them, so just in time. Give Jill or Paul a ring at Leven (Prestige Performance), they are so helpful. The 'Griffith' badge looks very nice without the 500 below, were these just for the earlier cars?
Hi Gav, yes your right, these Griffith badges were for the earlier models (400 & 430), and I agree they do look nice nice and symmetrical with clean lines. All the best, Petehttp://www.goldn.co.uk/
A very nice Leven job. However, lots of DIY kits out there from brush on to glass tank electroplating kits. Will gold plate from bathroom taps to knobs! The discrete Griff steering wheel badge would look nice gold plated.

Hi EGB, yes great idea. I knew these kits existed; but for the badges they were not only replated but the black painted in and then resin filled. Though quite possible to do at home, expertly and professionally done ready to fit was the attraction for me. All the best, PeteA very nice Leven job.
