Ahhrrrrgh pilot bulb popped out in headlight help please

This may be helpful, but you will have to have a close look with a torch! If my memory serves me right the dipped beam lights are of the same make (Hella) and construction as the main beam units underneath. The bulb mounting plate (the one with the spring clip on) is fixed to the main light reflector by two self tapping screws, if you remove all the wires and bulbs, then carefully take out the two small screws the whole back plate comes off revealing an opening of about 50mm. This if successful should give you plenty of room to extract the bulb with any of the methods the other lads have suggested (might even get some small fingers in there). Be very careful when fixing the mounting plate back as the plastic material the screws fix to may be a bit brittle.
