I'm planning to upgrade the PAS hoses next week and will need to flush and the refill the PAS fluid. Anyone know how much fluid is needed to fill the system from empty?

Is the handbook recommended fluid still the best option?

I was wondering if it was worth inserting a filter in the pas hose. Anyone know where I can get one and where in the pipe is the best place to put it? In the feed to the pump I assume?

Thanks

Colin

Mine runs on ATQ and i've got a Magnefine filter in the return line to the reservoir (low pressure). For the little they cost they are a worthwhile investment IMO.

An automatic transmission place near Bristol. Hiltonig has bought one more recently but I can't remember where he got it.
