The web site will be continually updated and Roger is offering anyone who orders in advance to have a personalised plate printed in the contributors section.
Roger thinks the book will be available around the end of October but anyone wishing to pre order please send a cheque to Roger asap. He wants the text for the plate e-mailed so please see link on the web site.
This really looks to be the definitive new model Griff book and a must for everyone on here.
I have no financial interest in the book but promised Roger I would post for anyone who wasn't aware of the book.

Done mine too.
Had a 2 hour conversation with Roger, who is incidentally the son of Len Shackleton (very famous England Footy player in the 50/60's), and he is a friendly chap. Think he could get in the England talking team no problemo!!! Fortunately, he phoned me.
Can't wait to read it.

Can't wait for the book to come out-having spoken to Roger several times,I know it's going to be a very thoroughly researched,excellent book.
It's got to be the best TVR book around-given the subject matter!

I wonder if Roger would know of my 'Grimbo's' 1st six months in the ownership of TVR Engineering. They only covered 300 miles in that time, factory did'nt answer my request for info on this 
. It was sold to me with the discription of being TVR's brochure car, it's still on the original number plate as well. I know its not the press car, but it looks identical to it. 
I wish I could get verification one way or other.

Just a small point and my memory is very bad on this point, on the www site it says that Helena Bonham Carter, was draped over a griff during the filming of the Rik Mayall film "dancing queen". Only i recall that it was a chim...but i could be wrong... and bugger me if i can find the video in my "collection" 
No, I'm sure it was a Griff, but I hope they washed all the sea-salt off it afterwards. Unfortunately, the only clips from the film that I can track down seem to show Ms Bonham-Carter sans clothes. Still, never mind, eh?

The car in question will be at the Growl.
It is the ocean haze publicity car (reg J631 NFV).It is still at the factory and will be brought down for the Growl.
It was also driven to Switzerland by Clarkson and this changed his views on TVR reliability.
Thanks to Ben for sorting it and to Heath Briggs for bringing it down.
