So.. what do we think?... it's a 3.2... and it may be tweaked a bit... and Quatro??... Guess in a straight line I'll win hands down... but try not to get involved with bendy bits too much???
BHP's are not great for a 3.2??..........
He lives over the road and was boasting how good it was (sure he's a hairdresser hehe )... and just managed to slip in at the end that it would thrash a TVR.... Now I'm sure he's no idea its a 5 Ltr V8... but he was talking £50 on a quick thrash (off normal roads obviously cop )....
Is it easy money smile

depends on the drivers and road, however my money would be on the griff.

although ive gone on record in the past sayig I think my S4 audi would be quicker than my cerb cross country due to it being easier to get the power out of it without feeling like im about to commit hari kari.

The TT would have absolutely no chance acceleration wise.
0-100 in over 14 seconds is nothing to write home about.

In the dry the TT doesn't stand a chance.
In the wet you'll have to demonstrate some finesse to overcome the Audi traction/abs/stability aids.
Take both cars to a track day & see who has the most fun....

I've got a 3.2 A3 quattro with the flappy paddle dsg box as my daily driver (just so happens to be up for sale at the mo - see classifieds!) and its a fantastic engine and gear box combo.

In a straight line my Cerb, and Im certain your griff, would murder it no doubt about it. But stick it on the twisties around where I live and I reckon I'd be quicker in the Audi. No question in the wet the audi is awesome. On a track the Cerb is in it's natural environment and would beat the Audi hands down. Not driven a griff sp couldn't comment on how it performs on a track but having seen some YouTube clips (you know who you are!) they look like they can be a bit of a handful so maybe what the Audi lacks in grunt (250 bhp) it will make up for in driveability

Would make for an interesting shoot out...

The wifes got a TT 225 quattro virtually identical performance figures as the 3.2 and on anything but the straightest of roads and it will do a Griff.

The haldex works incredibly well in it. I took it out the other day and the road holding is superb... A mate has a 1.8T TT that is chipped to 300bhp (which is easily done in this variant of the 1.8) and its dam quick..

So thats the plan... loads of nice straight roads (I mean track)... and I'll have him.. sprint style.... But as I said before.. it was the bendy bit's that concerned me.....
Paul.. you can't get rid of the very nice Griff and buy yourself (sorry .. the wife rolleyes) a TT!... you going to put a stripe over it laugh.. Looks nice anyway......

Will report back on the outcome latter then driving

Whatever tongue out
still quicker than a 518bhp V10.
1/4 mile for the R8 is 12.01 and 0-100 in 8.
Got that covered no problem....... until the bottle runs out rolleyessmile

Really, 300bhp from a chip, what uprated turbo is he running or does he have NOS as there is no way that a 225 will get 300bhp from just a remap.

i am no expert and i am sure there will be someone along soon but from what i have read that this is quite possible they were called the modern cossie engine as a simple chip would liberate lots of BHP... now of course how long they would produce that for is another matter but i am sure it was not minutes!....

IHI hybrid... was about 275 though without it (i think).. dont think its running at max either, just within the limits of rods.

Written about this before but on route back to the Ferry awhile back picked up a rather annoying AUDI A5 which tried to velcro itself to my back end,it never got past me but it never let up trying,i eventually let it past after about 30 miles to see it was an RS,mentioned it on the AUDI forum and found out AUDI were testing two prototypes in north wales at the time.
(dry/straight roads)
