Today my Precat reaches 20 years old !!!!!!!!!

In July I will have owned it for 9 years and lots of spanner induced knuckle scrapes..

It must be one of the oldest surviving ones left.

I bet it looks better now than it did 10 years ago though Ant.

Mine isn't 20 until 6th Nov. by which time I will have owned it for a paltry 8 years.

My Landy was 25 in February and I've had her for 16 of those years and will never part with it.
Its a standing joke how I told Mrs B I had the Land Rover before I had her when she once suggested I should sell it.
We're an odd bunch eh.

Anyway, Happy Birthday Ants Griff.

Well done... Happy Birthday!

Mine was first sold to a customer on 7/5/92 (PDI 6/5/92). I have owned this one for only a year and it's being 'recommissioned' at the moment so I don't expect to see it for quite a while.

My Griff is 20 on 1st August. Reading Barreti's comments about his Landy, mine is 22 in September and still going strong (only 104k miles), but did treat her (the Landy that is) to a new galvanised chassis in 2010. Regards, Pete

Happy birthday!party Do we count their birthday as the chassis build date on the little welded date tag,or do we say they were 'born' when they were registered?
Eta: when was the first proper production one registered/built?

Just checked my V5, 1st registered 18-03-92! I've owned it for nearly 7 years now, will probably selling soon though to make way for something else.

Well done Ant. Hopefully another 20 to come.
Puts it into perspective when I've owned the Taimar for over 21 years now.
