Cleaning headlamp lenses..........
Discussion
There was a thread several years ago regarding cleaning the outside of the headlamp lenses and the inside of the perspex covers by releasing the lamp clips and pushing the units forward. Evidently it was then possible to carefully clean all the surfaces. However I imagine that refitting everything was not so easy. Has anyone else tried this? Removing the covers is not a job I particularly fancy attempting and this way, if possible, would seem quicker.
Just a word of warning...ever started one of those jobs, and got part way through thinking...I shouldn't have bothered??
My personal experience of trying this took hours, and gave me very poor results. The haze on the lamps was primarily on the inside of the lens, and I found it impossible to remove as the imside is sculptured.
Someone else may have a better idea?
