Can anyone identify what this bracket is for me please?(apologies for crap pic just taken outside with my phone). I found it (x2) in a box of my Griff bits just now whilst looking for my ARB parts, but I dont think they are anything to do with the ARB

That is part of the rear aftermarket ARB kit...
I fitted one to my old 400 Griff....
There are some parts missing there.... The compete kit included another plate that bolted to the wishbone itself using exhaust U clamps
Aftermarket kit? Now i really am confused! Are these brackets a welded part of the chassis on later cars then? I have the bush brackets and the drop link plates are welded to the wishbones.I fitted one to my old 400 Griff....

You'll have to forgive the old memory.... It was a long time ago that I had my 400But as I remember it, there was no drilling required to fit the upgrade kit...(it was sold by the factory as an upgrade)
It all just bolted together...
The exact position of the bracket in your thread escapes me, but it definitely didn't require any drilling, and it definitely had some extra parts not shown...
If it helps there was a chap on the Griff forum whom had a Green Griff with a very clean chassis, and his wishbones were painted gold...
He has pictures of his car on a ramp, and the ARB can be clearly seen...

Mike, these bolt to the chassis. And they are handed, obviously.Edited by The AJP Griff on Thursday 12th April 21:09
